September AGM Meeting

HO50’s AGM
Do please attend – we need a quorum of 20 people!
This it will also be a sociable occasion, with refreshments and space to chat.
Date: Monday 20 th September 2021
Time: 2 pm to 4.30pm
Place: Winkfield Resource Centre, 33 Winkfield Road, N22 5RP.
Access: Venue is fully disability-friendly building with on site parking. Buses 123,
243, W3 pass along Lordship Lane (200m up a slight incline; ask for
Court House stop; turning by TESCO express).

What if I want to join in but can’t get out?
We are trying to arrange access to this meeting by Zoom, possibly from landlines as
well as mobiles and computers. If you would prefer to do this please contact us –
preferably text ‘zoom AGM’ with your name to 07915 477009, or if you can’t text
leave a message and say your name – clearly and slowly please.
Programme:
 A speaker from Transport for London will talk about what older people can
expect from bus drivers. He will reveal what it says about this in the ‘Little Red
Book’ which TfL gives to drivers. There will be a Q&A session.
 Richard Winthrop from Carphone Warehouse will talk about the new facility
they are setting up specially for our members at their counter in the Curry’s
store on the Tottenham Hale Retail Park, to help us with issues about mobile
phones, SIMs and tablets.

You’ll be able to pay your annual subscription (£8) at the door if you need to.
Only paid up members will be able to vote! You can pay in cash, or by cheque
made payable to Haringey over 50s Forum.

HO50s AGM Monday 11th March 2019 2pm to 4pm Road Resource Centre, 33 Winkfield Rd, Wood Green, London N22 5RP Our AGM will give members and supporters an opportunity to speak to Committee Members and hear about exciting new opportunities and services that the Council has commissioned for older people in Haringey. We are delighted that Haringey’s new Cabinet Member for Adults and Health Cllr Sarah James will be joining us. She will talk about the Council’s priorities for older people in the borough. We will also be hearing from Paul Allen, Head of Integrated Care and Frailty at NHS Haringey Please come along to our AGM Come and join the HO50s members for a fun filled couple of hours.
